WHICH LEVEL OF PROTECTION ?
- Hip’Air ensure an OPTIMAL PROTECTION in comparison to standard hip pads.
- To compare their level of protection, we realized some tests in collaboration with CRITT SL laboratory.
- The results were impressive : Hip’Air reduces by 90% the impact force during a fall and thus avoids considerably hip fractures.
- In addition, the tests have shown that Hip’Air shock absorption is 10 TIMES better than a standard hip protector.
The system analyses and follows motion in context.
The system detects that the person is falling in 200 ms (0,2 seconds)
Both airbags inflate in 80 ms (0,08 seconds) above the hips.
Hips are fully protected before ground impact.
